Yatelo review: our honest take

Yatelo is an app-first travel eSIM brand from Nimbleedge Inc. that delivers every plan as an instant QR code, managed through its iOS and Android app rather than a web dashboard alone. All plans are data-only — there are no bundled calls, texts or phone numbers, so it suits travelers who live on WhatsApp, maps and mail.

Match the plan to your trip length and expected data usage before choosing Yatelo.

Check whether hotspot, 5G, roaming partners, and fair-use limits fit your phone and destination.

Confirm final taxes, activation timing, refund terms, and supported networks on the provider checkout page.

How Yatelo works

1Pick a plan

Choose a plan from Yatelo above by destination, data, and validity. Prices already include the ESIMADVICE10 coupon; enter it at checkout.

2Install over Wi-Fi

Buy through the provider, then scan the QR code or use their app to add the eSIM to your phone before you travel.

3Connect on arrival

Turn the eSIM line on for data when you land — your main SIM stays active for calls and texts.

About Yatelo

Buying is web-or-app: pick a Yatelo plan on esimadvice.com, and checkout on yatelo.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The eSIM QR code is delivered after payment — scan it to install, ideally on Wi-Fi before you fly. You need an eSIM-capable phone (iOS 15.1+ or an eSIM Android such as recent Pixel and Samsung models); check Yatelo's compatibility information if unsure. The Yatelo app (App Store and Google Play) handles install and data-usage tracking, but a plain QR scan works too. On arrival, enable data roaming on the Yatelo line to connect. Plans are data-only, so keep your home SIM active for SMS codes and use WhatsApp or other VoIP apps for calls.

Yatelo — quick answers

What is the cheapest Yatelo eSIM plan right now?

We currently list 2,303 live Yatelo plans across 208 countries, starting at $1.34.

Is there a working Yatelo coupon code?

Yes — code ESIMADVICE10 takes 10% off Yatelo plans, and it is already applied to the prices shown on eSIMAdvice.

How fast does a Yatelo eSIM activate, and when does validity start?

The QR code is delivered after payment and activation is a single QR scan — install on Wi-Fi before your trip, then enable data roaming on the Yatelo line when you land. You need iOS 15.1+ or an eSIM-capable Android. Every plan has a fixed validity period; Yatelo sells no open-ended pay-as-you-go plans, so avoid buying long before you actually travel.

Do Yatelo plans include calls, texts or a phone number?

No. Every Yatelo plan is data-only, with no bundled minutes, SMS or phone number. Calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime and other VoIP apps work fine on the data connection, and you should keep your home SIM installed (with roaming data off) to still receive bank and login SMS codes.

What happens if my Yatelo eSIM does not work — can I get a refund?

Yatelo has no published fixed refund window; refunds are handled case-by-case by its 24/7 support (in-app chat, email or the web contact form). User reports describe partial refunds of the unused portion of a package back to the original card rather than automatic full refunds, so contact support immediately and before burning data if the eSIM fails to connect.
