Nomad eSIM eSIMX works on any eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone. Common examples:
Tip: open Settings and look for "Add eSIM" or "Add cellular plan" to confirm your device supports eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked.
You buy on the eSIMX website (or its app), and the eSIM arrives by email as a QR code shortly after checkout. Install it by scanning the QR code in your phone's cellular settings, or by typing the SMDP+ activation details in manually if scanning is not an option — both routes are supported. Install before you fly and the plan is designed to go live when you land and connect at your destination; validity windows typically run 7 to 30 days. One important sizing note: eSIMX does not support topping up an existing plan, so if you run out of data mid-trip you buy a fresh plan rather than recharging — pick a size with headroom. Prices shown on eSIMAdvice already have the exclusive ESIMX10 code (10% off) applied.

Yes. eSIMAdvice has an exclusive code, ESIMX10, which takes 10% off eSIMX plans. You do not need to type it in at checkout when you come from our site — the discount is already applied to every eSIMX price we display.
After checkout, eSIMX emails you a QR code; you install it from your phone's cellular settings, or enter the SMDP+ activation details manually if you cannot scan. Install before departure — the plan is designed to activate when you arrive and connect at your destination, and validity (typically 7 to 30 days) runs from there. There are no top-ups, so buy a plan sized for your whole trip.
Some eSIMX plans bundle a native phone number with free SMS, which is rare among budget travel eSIMs — check the details of the specific plan before buying. Be aware the number may be issued from a different country than the one you are visiting; testers using an eSIMX plan in Vietnam were assigned a Hong Kong number routed via Hutchison's network.
Yes. eSIMX accepts cryptocurrency payments such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, which very few travel eSIM providers offer. Standard methods are supported too: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.
