Nomad eSIM CloudOn eSIM works on any eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone. Common examples:
Tip: open Settings and look for "Add eSIM" or "Add cellular plan" to confirm your device supports eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked.
You can buy either on the cloudon.app website or in the CloudOn app (App Store / Google Play): pick a local single-country, regional, or global destination, then a data amount and validity. After payment you scan the eSIM QR code or install directly from the CloudOn app, which also stores and manages your eSIMs. Installation needs an internet connection, so set it up on Wi-Fi before you fly; the plan's validity only starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, and CloudOn quotes under 60 seconds to get online on arrival. When data or validity runs out you can top up the same installed eSIM instead of installing a new profile.

We currently list 2,309 live CloudOn eSIM plans across 207 countries, starting at $2.84. The lineup spans local single-country, regional, and global options, including unlimited-data plans, so it's worth comparing a small fixed-data plan against an unlimited one for your destination before checking out.
Yes — our exclusive code ESIMDUDE5 gives 5% off, and it's already auto-applied to the CloudOn prices you see on esimadvice.com. One honest caveat from CloudOn's own refund policy: plans purchased with a discount code become non-refundable once the eSIM is installed or activated, so double-check your device compatibility before installing.
Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network — not when you buy or install it. That means you can install the eSIM QR code on home Wi-Fi days before departure (or install directly from the CloudOn app), then enable the line on arrival; CloudOn says you'll be online in under 60 seconds.
You have 30 days from purchase to request a refund via website or in-app chat. Full refunds only apply if the eSIM was never installed or activated; after activation, partial refunds for unused data are limited to cases of minimal usage plus a verified network or technical failure. The Thailand DTAC 50GB/10-day plan and Unlimited plans follow separate terms.
Yes. When your data or validity runs out, CloudOn lets you top up the same installed eSIM to keep going, so you don't need to delete the profile and scan a new QR code mid-trip. Note there are no no-expiry pay-as-you-go options, so each top-up still comes with its own fixed validity period.
